Directions

Address. Follow postcode PL10 1NA.

Norcot 1, The Cleave, Kingsand, Cornwall.

If it's your first visit, we recommend first parking your car in the public car park next to the Halfway House pub - PL10 1NA, before finding the cottage along The Cleave. Follow the narrow lane around by the Clock Tower, past the Devonport Arms and the cottage is right in front of you, in the far corner. There is a barrow in the cottage for transporting your luggage the short distance to the property.

From Exeter

The A38 will take you the 40 miles from Exeter to Plymouth in around 55 minutes. We recommend taking the Torpoint car ferry in Plymouth - use satnav postcode PL1 4FL - which is a 10 minute crossing. The Torpoint Ferry forms a vital transport link across the Tamar (known at this location as the Hamoaze) between the town of Torpoint in Cornwall, PL11 2AX and the city of Plymouth in Devon.

Alternatively, you can drive around the peninsular route, taking the A38 across the Tamar Bridge. At the Route 38 roundabout, turn left onto the A374. The B3247 from Crafthole will take you all the way to Kingsand.

In the summer months, there is a regular passenger ferry between the Barbican in Plymouth and the beach in neighbouring Cawsand, five minutes walk from the cottage.

Car parking in Kingsand

Because of the close proximity to the seafront, there is no easy access for your car at the front of the property and no allocated parking to the front or the rear.

We recommend parking in Kingsand Pay & Display car park (100 spaces) at the bottom of Fore Street, next to the Halfway House pub - PL10 1NA - which is a 3 minute walk. There is an alternative larger car park in Cawsand village - PL10 1PA - which is a 7 minute walk. The ticket machines accept cards, or you can use the RingGo app.

There is free parking available at the top of the village, but be careful of signposted restrictions.
